1 day.- ARRIVAL IN PERU. Arrival to Lima, transfer to hotel
2 day.- LIMA / HUANCAYO. Transfer by 4x4 vehicle to Huancayo, passing through arid desert and fertile valleys and ascending to 4,800 metres at Ticlio, before descending to La Oroya, which is Peru's most important mining centre. We arrive in Huancayo in the afternoon.

3 day.- HUANCAYO / AYACUCHO We will travel in our 4x4 vehicle to Ayacucho, seeing Andean landscapes from high mountains to deep fertile valleys as we cross a part of Peru rarely seen by tourist.
4 day.- AYACUCHO We will visit this colonial city with its famous churches and local markets. In the afternoon we will visit the Wari culture remains and the Pampa of Quina, where the final battle for independence was fought against the Spanish army.

5 day.- AYACUCHO / ANDAHUAYLAS Transfer to the city of Andahuaylas, arriving in the afternoon
6 day.- ANDAHUAYLAS / CUSCO We will leave in the early morning to travel to the imperial city of Cusco, visiting the ruins of Limatambo and the thermal baths at Conoc on the way. Transfer to hotel in Cusco. |
7 day.- CUSCO CITY TOUR and four nearby ruins.- In the morning we will visit the famous Inca capital, seeing its colonial churches and Inca remains like Koricancha, the temple of the sun. We will also go on foot to the San Blas district to visit its famous craft shops. In the afternoon we will visit the ruins of Sacsayhuamán, Q'enko, Puka Pukara and Tambo Machay, before returning to our hotel in the evening.

8 day.- CUSCO / MACHUPICCHU / URUBAMBA An early morning transfer to San Pedro station for the train that will take us to Machu Picchu. We will visit this magnificent citadel in the company of an expert guide and then have time to explore it alone. We will then go by train to Ollantaytambo and from there by private bus to our hotel in Urubamba.

9 day.- VALLE SAGRADO/ CUSCO We will visit the Inca town and fortress of Ollantaytambo, virtually unchanged since Inca times, before going on to Pisac market and ruins. Return to Cusco in the late afternoon.
10 day.- CUSCO FREE DAY A free day to explore Cusco

11 day.- CUSCO / PUNO Transfer to the city of Puno, visiting the ruins of Raqchi and the church of Andahuaylillas, known as the Sistine Chapel of the Americas. We arrive in Puno in the late afternoon to be transferred to our hotel.
12 day.- UROS / SILLUSTANI A visit to the Uros floating islands and to the burial towers of Sillustani in the afternoon.
13 day.- PUNO / CHIVAY Transfer to the town of Chivay with panoramic views throughout the day. With luck we will also be able to see vicuñas, alpacas and flamingos. We arrive at our hotel in Chivay in the late afternoon.

14 day.- CHIVAY / AREQUIPA In the early morning we will visit Cruz del Condor in the hope of seeing that majestic Andean bird as it sails over one of the deepest canyons of the world. On our way to Arequipa we will pass through several typical towns and villages.
15 day.- AREQUIPA An all-day visit to Peru's second city, including Santa Catalina convent, the Cathedral and the Jesuit church. Free time to visit independently. |
16 day.- AREQUIPA / NAZCA Transfer to Nazca along the Panamerican Highway, visiting the pre-Inca cemetery of Ocoña before arriving to Nazca where we will spend the night.
17 day.- NAZCA In the morning we will have the opportunity to fly over the Nazca lines in an optional excursion and in the afternoon visit the region's archaeological sites
18 day.- NAZCA / PARACAS In the morning transfer to Paracas, visiting Huacachina oasis and the archaeological and anthropological museum in Ica. In the afternoon we will visit the Paracas National Park, before the transfer to our hotel in the evening.

19 day.- PARACAS / LIMA In the morning we will visit the Ballestas Islands. In the afternoon we will drive to Lima to be transferred to our hotel.
20 day.- LIMA / CITY TOUR we will start our tour around the city and its main attractions and then a visit to the Gold Museum and Archeological Museum.
