1 day.- CUSCO / PUERTO MALDONADO. Transfer to Cusco airport for our flight to Puerto Maldonado. Arrival and transfer to the town of Puerto Maldonado, where we will visit the market for some last minute shopping. Transfer to the pier on the Madre de Dios River for a 1 1/2 hour boat ride to our lodge. Arrival and lunch. In the afternoon we will visit the jungle before returning to our lodge for supper and to spend the night.
